This morning Nessa tells me [when I'm changing her diaper] "Mommy, I just saw Daddy." Now I know for a fact that Daddy went to work this morning, cause he wasn't anywhere in the house, so I blew it off.But she insisted, "Mommy, I saw Daddy!" So I looked at her and said, "You did?" and she nodded her head and began to play with the toy nonchalantly. "Daddy's going home." Oh my ... !!!! Now it occurs to me that there are plenty of stories around where the child can see angels or departing spirits - they come back to say goodbye before leaving. "Is Daddy going to heaven?" Nessa nods again. "Daddy going home." I couldn't get the diaper on fast enough to get to a phone to call Michael's cell. Was I ever so happy when I heard his voice!!!

Last Feb, after the blizzard hit and we lost Nessa in the snow [she fell off the sled, and POOF - there was only a hole where she went down in! kinda scary... especially for her!] Nessa just stayed on the back porch to play in the snow. This morning Nessa went crazy and wanted to go sledding. Can't believe she remembered that from last winter! We had to dig our way out in order to go to WalMart and get a snow-bunny suit [plus snow boots from Stride Rite] for her to go out in the stuff ... and now hubby just told me that the sled run from this morning/afternoon is already filled in with fresh snow! She'll love it.

Another old email Mommy found that has my old schedule, but thought perhaps everyone would appreciate what I was doing at that point in my life.
Hello,
I've been trying to stay busy during the mornings with doing things with Nessa. Afternoons are her nap time, so I'm trying to get things caught up during that time. Evening times - every day of the weekday - I've got stuff planned. so it's pretty hectic. Let me give you a quick schedule. Monday: Playgroup morning; AVSP nursery evening Tuesday: Dance class morning; Daddy evening Wednesday: Mall Munchkins morning; church evening Thursday: MOPS morning; Daddy evening Friday: Mommy catch up on stuff around house for the morning [I get morning off!]; Jones over evening Saturdays, of course, are work in the mornings [Nessa in AVSP nursery]; and Sundays are church in the mornings. Working on more stuff in the church lately, so that's adding to my hectic schedule.
Mommy just found this, so she's writing it WAAAAYYY after it happened, but she thought it was cute enough to put into my Live Journal account.
Hello again!
This morning's Doc visit went relatively smoothly. Except for the snow Nessa wanted to keep in the car [she screamed when Mommy made her drop it] AND the rock from the parking lot she stuck in her mouth so Mommy couldn't make her drop it - everything went OK.
The doctor asked a few questions: Can she jump? [no] Can she walk backwards? [no] Can she climb stairs? [on all 4s, or holding hand] How high can she stack? [7 blocks] Can she somewhat dress herself? [yes] Does she take clothes off? [socks by herself; others need help] Can she eat with a spoon and a fork? [yes] Does she have over 10 words? [Yes, Mommy, Daddy, No, Down, Tickle, Knee, Mouth, Eye, Nose, Chin, Ear, Toe, More, Two, Tee, Five, Ix, Eight, Nine, Ten, Yeah!]
The doctor listened to her heart with a cold stethoscope [she stood still! ] He also looked in her ears, and asked her to open her mouth. [Thankfully, she held still for the ears - major miracle! and opened her mouth! ] She then had to be put down on her back for him to feel her tummy. she giggles and squirmed - he had cold hands! and it tickled her. Everything was fine.
Then came the shot! since she hasn't had the chicken pox shot yet and it's required by law before either Preschool or Kindergarten, I asked that he go ahead and give it today. She only complained a little, but needed a lot of comfort afterwords. Next shot: 4 yr checkup. At this point, it's a once a year checkup.
That's all to report!
Love ya, Lisa
Those are the only words I can remember off the top of my head, perhaps she does know more?
LOL! Right after she stuck it in her mouth, she pulled it right back out and wanted Mommy to scrap her tongue cause of all the little bitty gravel that was stuck in her mouth! YUCK! Talk about Oopsies!
Oh! She can say "Boo!"
And I remember a couple of other things at the doctor's office. He asked if she could kick a ball. [yes] And there was some pictures he wanted her to identify. A dog, person, horse, bird, cat, there was a square and some lines too. But Nessa's talking is unintelligible to most everyone, so when he pointed out the dog, she called it a "Ba!" She recognized the square, pointing to it, but I don't have a clue what she called it.

I'm a busy girl lately!
Mondays are Playgroup with my friends Cameron, Caroline, and PJ when his mommy can get the baby ready too. Tuesdays are my Creative Dance Class. Cameron is signed up as well, and we play after class together. Wednesdays are Mall Munchkin days. Thursdays are MOPS days, and Fridays my grandparents come to see me after my nap. My naps are in the afternoon, right after lunch, usually lasting anywhere from 1.5-4 hours. [Normally closer to 2.5 hours.]
In my Creative Dance I'm learning to stretch out by making Pizza. Rolling out the dough, spreading the cheese and hitting the pepperoni on, pushing it in the oven and then waiting. [I have a harder time with the waiting part, I don't understand the concept of propping my head up on my hand and leaning to the side.] Then checking the pizza, and eating it [Mommy is amazed I can lean over and "eat" off the floor!] and then cleaning up the mess by sweeping side to side, swinging my arms over my head, and "shutting" the cabinet up. WOW - that was a lot! Maybe I'll just tell you what else I do and not describe it. We rock the boat [feet pressed together, rocking side to side], and sit in the ocean [learning crab position, pulling tummy/butt up]. Each week we also dance with something: so far it's been a magic handkerchief, a ray of sunshine [yellow streamer], and Willy the Worm [a piece of yarn]. I LOVE the magic shoe dance, where we pretend to fall asleep and then jump up to do something [jump, skip, gallop, run, swim, etc] because of the magic shoes on my feet, then lay back down to sleep again. We also do an animal dance, and pretend we're different animals. At the end we do an obstacle course. I like the somersaults - I'm the best one in the class! I also love the balance beam, and crawling through the tunnel. I don't quite get the circles, and the cat-stretches, nor the crab-walk just yet. And my cute purple spark-ly outfit is neat too!
For Mall Munchkins, there is a different topic each month. But since I've only gone just a month, I only know about caterpillars and butterflies and ladybugs! We start out with Exercises with Elmo, have a reading time, and a craft. Then more reading, and lots of songs and dances! I'm really working hard on the "Head-Shoulder-Knee-Toe" dance, and the "Hokey-Pokey". I like turning around lots, and clapping my hands! I've made a caterpillar that turns into a butterfly, and a big ladybug. Mommy has taped my colored pictures on the fridge. I'm trying to color in the lines. :-)
Mommy doesn't really know what I do for MOPPETS, but she does know we do a craft, cause we take it home. I've planted seeds, and made a small Easter Basket of jellybeans [yum!] lately. I've previously made a snow-globe, and stickers on my paper crown, and hand-bells! When we go to her MOPS Steering meeting, the adults talk while us kids play in the nursery.
And then when we aren't doing much during the morning, there are some mornings we go to the library for storytime, and songs.
In the evenings Daddy plays with me or watches TV with me because usually Mommy is running off to work.
Saturdays I go with Mommy to work, and play in the nursery. Sundays we go to church, and I get to do crafts and play in the nursery there too! Last Sunday I made a door hanger; another Sunday I made cookie cutter hands out of styrofoam. I liked tearing all the fingers off.

Mommy recently told Daddy to start teaching me stuff that I don't know. To work on things to improve my skills, instead of doing the same stuff over and over again. I didn't understand what she was saying at the time, but I will say that I like it. Because I get more individualized attention, and doing a lot more stuff!
Today I was trying to count as I was passing the ball to Daddy. I'm getting better at aiming at Daddy, instead of just throwing it high in the air. I was able to get all the way to 17! But I can't count that high. So Mommy asked Daddy to only count to 10, and then clap and praise me, and then start all over again. I like the clapping and praising!
I can say "une", "Too", "Thee", "Or", "Ive", "Iz", "Eight", "Nine", and "hen". But I need reminding which number comes at what point. I love saying 2, 8, & 9. They are my favorites! I still don't understand the number seven. Makes no sense to me, so I just smile when it's 7, and then try to continue counting.
I can do my shape puzzle very well. I pull all the pieces out, put them all back, and then clap and say "Yeah!" Mommy [or Daddy] will clap and praise me too, so I'll want to do it all over again.
The shape sorter I've just learned yesterday. It took me a bit to figure out how to twist the shapes to get them in the holes at just the right angles. And shaking the bowl upside down to get them out gets me frustrated because they won't come out easily!
Granddad made Daddy a wooden puzzle a long time ago. I found it under my bed the other day. I've been trying to figure out how exactly the pieces fit back into the puzzle. They are strange shapes, and nothing is the same as before. Mommy made up names for the shapes. "Gun", "Circle", "Square", "L", "Pointer", "Hallway". Of course they aren't exactly like those objects. I'm still learning how to get those in. I have to learn that the object has to match the shape underneath, and turning the pieces still frustrates me.
I'm getting better from my ear infection. I'm such a big girl now, I tell Mommy when it's time to take it! I go to the fridge and ask for her to open it. When she opens the door, I take out my medicine and give it to her. After I finish taking it, Mommy hands it back to me to put back. See what a big girl I am?
I'm also learning how to take my coat off when I come in. And take my PJ off when I get dressed. Today I was standing up when Mommy was working on putting my shoes on, and didn't fall over! I can take turns by putting each leg in my pants, and I'm very good at putting my arms in my shirts. Mommy's so proud of me!

Mommy and I used to go to a Playgroup on Thursday afternoons, but we don't anymore. There were a LOT of kids in that playgroup, but I didn't know many.
We do go to a Playgroup Tuesday morning. It has PJ, and Caroline, and Cameron in it. I like to play with them. I'm the youngest, not quite 2, while the boys turned 2 last fall and Caroline turns 2 this Saturday.
I was invited to Caroline's Birthday party on Sunday. Mommy's really excited about it. I'll get happy if I get to eat lots of sugary stuff and play with Caroline more. I like playing with other kids!
PJ and I sometimes want to play with the same toy. So he is learning how to share. I know how to share already! I try to share with Cameron, but he doesn't take the toy I give him. PJ also pushes me really fast! Vroom! I love it!
Cameron has also been in the pool when Mommy and I go swimming, as well as Cameron's older brother Austin. I like tagging after the older boys, for they can find lots of things to get involved with! I just watch them and then run after them when they run. Mommy and Cameron's Mommy talk a lot while we are all getting dressed, which means more fun for me and the boys to get into!
I also go to church nursery on Sundays, when I'm not sick. I've been sick a lot lately, but this next Sunday I'll be in the nursery! I like playing with my friends there.
Thursdays are MOPS days, which means I'll be in the Moppets. I get to play with Reagan, and Caroline again, as well as Shelby, and when all the other Moppets show up, there are a lot more too!
I'm learning how to be a good friend. Mommy's happy that I like my other 2 year old friends.
Saturday my Daddy took me outside to sled down the hill behind our apartment. Weeeeeeeee!!!!!!! I had fun! Then the sled would stop at the bottom against the building next door, and I would need a seat belt to stay put!
Sunday it snowed and snowed. Mommy took me out in the snow a couple of times to play in it, and we tried to sled again. But the sled got stuck, and I fell out into a snowbank. I couldn't move! Daddy pulled me back up but I don't like getting stuck into the snow. I like sitting on the back porch and digging in the pile of snow in front of me. There sure was a lot of it, because it reached over my head. I also helped Mommy to sweep the back porch with the broom. I like to sweep! I also put some of the white snow in my mouth. It tasted different than anything I've tasted before. I tried to eat a bit more, but it doesn't taste good so I stopped.
Monday Mommy and Daddy were always trying to dig around the cars. I wanted to play, but I couldn't move because my legs would get stuck down in the snow. I didn't like it at all! And the wind was blowing a lot, so I got very cold on my face and my hands, even though I had a snow bunny suit with mittens on.
Tuesday I didn't want to go outside. Why was everyone trying to go outside to play in that deep snow?
Wednesday Daddy pulled my sled on the roads. That was fun! He told Mommy that some of the roads were starting to clear, but for the most part riding in the sled was nice. At one point the sled went faster than Daddy and ran into his legs! I laughed.
Daddy was complaining that the ice around the car was hard to shovel. I liked to pick up the snowballs and carry them all around. Mommy would grab me and hold me while a car drove by, but Daddy got upset with me in the middle of the parking lot. I got mad at Daddy for trying to keep me in one spot, and threw myself down to scream and have a fit! Then I got even MORE upset because I had landed - face first - into a melted puddle of ice water! Everything was sooooo cold!
Thursday - today - Daddy went back to work. And Mommy and I went to Playgroup. I didn't get to play in the snow today, although I did drag my fingers through the wall of snow next to the car.
Snow sure is cold, and strange, but I don't understand why Mommy and Daddy got excited about it.

Mommy hasn't been updating this like she should. Let's see what all I've done recently...
I have an art desk from Christmas, that I like to take out all the crayons and sit in the desk. I color whenever I get paper of any kind within my grasp, usually with pens that Mommy leaves out.
today I worked a puzzle and worked it and worked it ... maybe over 40 times! It was about 30 minutes tonight, and possibly about 15 minutes this morning. Mommy was amazed that I could do it again and again and again and again and...
I can do somersaults on the carpet! I started doing them by myself on Daddy & Mommy's bed, but found that I fell off and hit the side table. On the floor I don't fall. :-D
A babysitter was with me Sunday. I love her so much that I screamed and cried when she went bye-bye! Mommy promised that she could come back and see me sometime soon.
I'm sick now. I've been sick for about 2 weeks, and just now got antibiotics for my sinus infection and stuff for my runny nose. With it running so much, Mommy has been trying to teach me how to wipe it myself with my own kleenex! But then she keeps coming back to wipe it again, and my nose hurts from all this wiping!
Last time I did swimming lessons, I dug my arms in the water. Mommy was so happy! I hadn't done that previously. Also my kick is better, and my bubble blowing has my nose in the water too. She pulled me under so my eyes got wet, and it upset me a little bit, but I didn't cry. So in the bathtub I'm practicing getting my bangs wet and letting the water run in my eyes. Then I wipe them off. Mommy doesn't like me doing that.
My favorite VCR tape was Tommy's Treehouse, but now it's Threads. Sometimes I watch Tommy again and again too. Mommy's been switching tapes and showing me VeggieTales, but if I have my way I know what video I like watching!
My nap is in the middle of the afternoon. Only 1 nap now, about 1:30 or so. Sometimes I sleep as long as 3 hours. Several times it was 4 hours; several times it was 1.5 hours. Mommy can't predict it. Today was the first day my bar was let down on my crib. I'm learning to climb out and she didn't want me to fall when I did climb out.
It snowed quite a lot this last week, and we went out in the snow. Mommy would wipe my nose, and Daddy would take a picture of me. My snow outfit is too small now, I can't hardly move in it! My parents made a snowman as big as I am, and Daddy put his straw hat on it. I didn't like that, and kept trying to take it off before Daddy could take the picture. The snow came up halfway to my knees in some places.
Mommy needs her sleep now, so this entry is now officially closed.

Right now I'm in the process of eating all the good stuff off of a pizza while Mommy types this in. I'm getting it in my hair and all over my face too, but I like the toppings and not the bread anymore!
I've been having a good time in my bath lately, with all my toys and blowing bubbles. This morning I learned about pouring water, and how some toys fit together, and how things balance on top of my head.
Like right now, my pizza plate is balancing - oops, it just fell - off my head. I've got LOTS of tomato bits and cheese all over me now!
Christmas decorations are up. Mommy explained that we decorate for Jesus' Birthday. There are flashing bells, and a hanging ball, and hanging icicles, and hanging light wreath, and a little town with cars and a train, and candles in all the windows and a white wreath on the front door. Daddy is talking about what to do with a tree, since all the other decorations I can't get ahold of. Mommy doesn't want to put the manger out because I might put pieces of it in my mouth.
We're going to the church to pick up things now, and drop off things. It's still snow on the ground outside, so I'm hoping Mommy will let me play while we're out! She doesn't let me go out in the snow unless we're going somewhere. My snowsuit is hard to get in and out of, but it keeps me warm and I look really cute in it!

I'm 20 Months now! Let's see what all trouble I can get into ... *laugh*
I'm taking swimming lessons on Tuesday mornings. I can blow bubbles really well, and not drink much at all. [Mommy's really proud of that last part!] I also "dig" the water with my hands - both at the same time. That "left, right" for doggie paddling I just don't get. And I kick my feet really well. Mommy says I tread water instead of kicking forward, and I do this with a breastroke kick. All that is confusing. I just Kick, Dig, and Bubble when I want to. Plus I'm working on climbing out of the pool, and using the steps too. I'm not really good at walking in the pool. I'm too wobbly! But I LOVE falling in from the side and letting Mommy catch me!
This morning was the first of the playgroup that Mommy is putting together. There were 2 other boys that's older than I am. I guess Mommy had fun too - I played hard, and after they left I needed a LONG nap!
Thursday mornings sometimes we go to MOPS. I was having some problems as a Moppet cause I want an adult with me at all times. But I'm getting better, cause I'm playing more with other kids my age. I had a crown once out of paper. Mommy helped me decorate it with stickers, then I pulled them all off! I also started playing with play-dough there, but I didn't like it too much.
Thursday afternoons after my nap we go to another playgroup. This one has a LOT of kids both older and younger than I am. I'm not very comfortable by myself here because of all the kids, but I'm getting better!
Tuesday and Thursday evenings Mommy goes off to work and I get Daddy to myself. I cry when Mommy leaves, then I'm happy with Daddy. I watch a lot of TV then. I watch a lot of TV in the mornings too, especially the WIGGLES! My other favorite TV show is Elmo's World on Sesame Street. I watch a lot of VeggieTales too. I go over and whine until Mommy or Daddy comes and opens the cabinet. Then I choose my VeggieTale to watch and hand it to them.
Sunday morning I was at the nursery in church, but since I've been sick, and Daddy and Mommy too, we hadn't been to church in a LONG time. So I was a bit afraid being in the nursery again.
One other thing I'm proud of is how much I'm climbing! Mommy has a step-stool in her closet that I LOVE to climb on, but then I get stuck and have to yell for someone to come rescue me. I climb on all the furniture, except the display table. I got spanked so I don't climb there anymore. I even can climb into my high chair - it worries Mommy and Daddy when I do this. Daddy calls it "Baby Rock-Climbing"!
Thursday, October 10, 2002
Mommy didn't realize until yesterday how much bigger I am. We were all going out, and I walked over to the front door and tried to open all by myself. The last time she saw me try that, I could barely touch the doorknob. Yesterday, I was trying to turn the whole knob, but it wouldn't turn. [Grandma warned Mommy not to teach me to unlock the door.]
She should have had an idea that I was bigger. After all, I can wear my teddy bear overalls now without having to roll up the cuffs on the legs! And when I walk around the table my head is above the table's edge. And I'm so much taller than the display table! I no longer climb up and stand on the glass anymore. Mommy kept spanking me, and I learned my lesson!
Daddy and Mommy bought me a new toy the other day. It's called, "a stool". I pick it up and take it whereever I want, and I am even taller when I stand on it! Now I can turn off and on my light whenever I want. And the lights in the living room too! And I can climb on top of their bed to play! I really like that part, the fact that I can get up by myself. :-)
I watch Seseme Street, and a lot of Veggie Tales, plus a lot of whatever Mommy and Daddy are watching. Sometimes they look at me and turn the TV off, and I get upset! I can turn it on by myself now, along with the volume box. So they have started closing the TV away with the doors. I can't open that! And I cry then. But when I'm told I can pick out my Veggie Tale to watch, I have a hard time making up my mind. I pick them all out to hand to Mommy!
I've learned so much with my toys. I have a shape puzzle that I'm learning the different shapes. Did you know that the octagon can go into the circle shape? and the square can go into the rectangle shape! and if I push and hit it hard enough, the triangle can go there too. Then there is the Seseme Street pull-toy, that says the sounds of different animals or who's holding the animal. I really like that toy, but I have a hard time pulling the lever!
I've gone a couple times to the church nursery. I've cried when left, but then I play with toys and get a snack and I'm happy until Mommy or Daddy come back. Mommy says tomorrow I get to go to the AVSP nursery again. It's been a long time since I was there; I hadn't cried the last few times she dropped me off there. I was happy to be playing with so many other children!
Speaking of playing with others ... I was able to play at Maw Maw and Paw Paw a few weeks ago. Nana plays a lot with me too when I stay with them. I got nervous a little without Daddy. And then I got to play with Ian too. I had climbed up into the computer chair, and he pushed me around and around! Ian's mommy got upset at him thinking I was going to be hurt. He followed me around so whatever I played with he played with too. [Ian is 10 months older than Nessa, but the "baby" of the family.]
I'm almost 19 months now. I will be on Sunday. So many things I do now! I'm a happy girl. :-)

This morning the lamp fell into my crib! I was so upset and scared that I cried and cried. Mommy had to take the lamp away out of my room.
Some other things that's happened lately: Whenever I pick up the phone Mommy or Daddy keeps asking me to give it to them so I do. And when Mommy took off the ruler that locks the filing cabinent in place I tried to relock it for her. I close all the doors and drawers that are opened. Daddy loves it. Sometimes when they ask me to do something I do, other times I laugh and run off. Mommy asked me to bring her a bib from breakfast and when I did she kissed and hugged me so much I had to push her away!

8:13PM
Well, not much has happened lately.
Mommy's knee and leg has been hurting her a lot lately, so I've been watching a lot of TV and videos. I'm learning A, B, and E. And I've learned that there are letters everywhere! On my bib, on the refridgerator, on the tall green thing outside, and in my Bible. Everytime I point to a letter I tell Mommy what it is.
Yesterday we all went up to WV to visit Grandma and Granddad and all my aunts and relatives for breakfast. I didn't have my nap, and then I cried and cried when Mommy was trying to get me to sleep later on that finally Grandma came in to soothe me. Daddy decided we were going home and I got a short nap, but today I've been really cranky from lack of sleep.
I also climbed up on the display table and even stood up all by myself! Mommy coaxed me to try to sit to get off, so I did.
Daddy's been playing with me outside and we run around a lot. I like it when he swings me upside down and around in circles. I laugh and laugh! Then he turned me around and around on the chair, but he won't do it anymore!
I did a lot of whining today. Daddy's upset.
Current mood: cranky

Let's see what all I've gotten into lately ...
I've pulled out the filing drawer and scattered papers that were filed across the living room floor. Daddy put a ruler in the handles so I can't pull out a single drawer anymore.
Today we went swimming. [Yesterday we went swimming too!] Daddy counted to 3, and I held my breath and under I went, all the way up to my eyes! I'm leaning over in the bathtub and blowing at the water. And sometimes when I'm supposed to be sipping through a straw, I blow bubbles instead. Daddy's really proud of the fact that I don't mind getting water on my face when he's washing my hair or rinsing it.
Most of the time I need some downtime twice a day. This might be just playing quietly inside my crib, or I might actually take that longed-for nap. I'm getting a pretty good schedule down too.
I signal when I'm hungry by touching my thumb with my ring finger on my right hand. It works! I'm eating by myself now too, especially if the food is small and I can handle it in my hand. Otherwise I take my spoon to it and can eat pretty well there too.
I love my bike ride! Daddy's legs get sore too much if we go out of town because it's up and down hills. This morning's bike ride I jabbered and talked the entire time to Daddy, telling him everything that was going on.
I can get stuff out of the cabinet and put it back. Putting it back is what Daddy is proud of best. That way they aren't picking up after me quite so much anymore. But I really get into everything in the kitchen - the dishwasher, the refrigerator[although I can't open it by myself yet], and all the drawers.
I can turn the TV on & off, and adjust channel and volume on both TVs now - even the one in the living room! I watch a lot of TV - JayJay the Jet Plane! [I even said "Jay Jay" this morning pointing to the TV] and Caillou and Seseme Street. I love VeggieTales! I sit mesmerized and watch them over and over again. Too bad Mommy and Daddy can only handle watching the same tape twice before switching tapes. We're running out of VeggieTale tapes.
My hair has gotten lighter, like Mommy's, with Daddy's curl at the ends. At least, when I don't have food in it. After I eat I tend to put my bowl on my head. Mommy didn't like it when it was full of syrup!
My favorite toy is Mommy's borrowed cane. I pick it up and swing it all around like a baton twirler! Daddy keeps telling me to give it back to Mommy, which I do, and then when she puts it down again I can pick it up again to twirl some more! Mommy's just glad I don't knock anything down.
My life is full and happy.

Today we went up to see Grandparents and the Laidlows for Breakfast. I was my cute darling self, except I'm not feeling too good and I'm a bit cranky from lack of sleep.
Tonight Mommy got the hint and we went outside to play ball. We passed it back and forth and I caught it! I was so happy! Afterward I went exploring all the other apartments down the row and found a dog I wanted to pet but the owner and Mommy said no.

This morning I've gotten into all kinds of trouble so far!
I woke up and Mommy came in after a LONG time to get me. We played with Baby Doll - she would snuggle her, and then it would be my turn to snuggle her. Mommy said I looked SO cute rocking her side to side before handing Baby Doll back to Mommy to snuggle.
Mommy also had to get the blocks down for me to play with, otherwise I'd have pulled the entire storage bin on my toes. I then pulled and tugged and finally got several blocks out. Whhhheeeeeeeeee!!!! That's the sound I make when I'm happy! My room is a mess, and I threw the block at Mommy's head. She got upset with me.
I'm turning the light off now by myself. Mommy put a couple of boxes for me to stand on, and I can reach it. I turn the light off and on and off and on and off, before Mommy can pull me down to go eat breakfast.
I'm even playing on the computer now. I come to Mommy and climb up into her lap, and start playing with the mouse. Mommy puts my computer disk in and then we start playing! Whhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeee! Today we played Bubble Castle.
I love watching TV. I like Cailou, and Jay-Jay the Jet Plane, and Sesame Street. I'll watch Mommy's TV too, and forget to eat if the TV is on while the food is in front of me.
I'm still learning my "A", and I'm starting to bring my books and Bible to Mommy for her to read to me. I accidentally pulled a fish off the mobile. I wanted Mommy to put it back but she says I broke it.
Off to watch TV!

Oh, I'm SO tired! Today was 2 shots - I cried and cried. The nurses gave me 2 stickers - Cookie Monster and Winnie the Pooh. Mommy tried to take my stickers away, but I wouldn't let her! She then took me to the park to play, and I got to swing and slide and climb on the gym. I fell on the slide and went head over heels and rolled down. Mommy yelled and I wanted to be held for a minute, but I'm fine! I made a new friend named Abby. She's only 15 months, whereas I'm 17 months, but she's tall cause her mommy and daddy are tall. Mommy's talking about getting into a playgroup, which would be nice because then I could play on the playground every Thursday!
Yesterday Mommy and I read 2 books, and I'm learning my "A" and "circle". I got so happy when Mommy praised me for tracing my finger on the circle! Last night Grandma and Granddad came over and we went out to eat. I got crayons and tried to draw my circles. I love crayons now!
Now it's nap-time. ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz
